John J. Hemmingson Center Gonzaga Greenhouse Helps Advanced Sustainable Farming

Sodexo’s dining sustainability team at Gonzaga University celebrate the one-year anniversary of the John J. Hemmingson Center Gonzaga Greenhouse this semester. The 1,000 square foot facility exceeded expectations for growth and produce yield, while also using just one tenth of the water resources typically used in traditional growing methods.

All food grown in the greenhouse is donated to Second Harvest. You can learn more about the project here
