Holiday Giving Across Lakeside Companies: A Season of Community Impact

This season, Lakeside Companies’ entities are joining together to support local families and neighbors in meaningful ways. Here’s what’s happening across our holiday initiatives.

Architerra Homes: Supporting Families in Idaho & Washington

Architerra Homes is partnering with Safe Passage, a community organization that has supported survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, stalking, and human trafficking for nearly 50 years. Their work includes emergency shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, and long-term support for families rebuilding their lives.

Community members can take part through the Idaho Giving Tree, available at our Foxtail and The Trails model homes. Simply pick up a Giving Tree tag, purchase the item listed, and return the gift to the same location. Each contribution helps bring comfort and stability to families facing crisis during the holidays.

Our Washington team is also embracing the spirit of giving through two local initiatives:

Safe Passage Giving Tree: Offering essential care and holiday support to survivors and families in crisis.

Deer Park School District Giving Tree: Providing gifts and much-needed items to students and families identified through the district.

Participants can pick up a Giving Tree tag and return gifts at the Marshall Meadows model home in Deer Park, helping ensure no child or family goes without support this season.

Echelon Village: Food Drive & Family Adoptions

Echelon Village residents showed tremendous generosity through a community-wide food drive benefiting 3rd Ave Marketplace in Post Falls. Together, the community filled two Costco-sized shopping carts with donated items. Each resident who contributed received a raffle ticket, with three lucky winners taking home prizes.

In December, Echelon Village is continuing its partnership with Safe Passage by adopting two local families, each including a mother and two children ranging from 6 months to 14 years old. Every family member will receive at least $150 in gifts, covering both needs and wants to help make their holiday brighter.

Residents who return gifts receive another raffle ticket, adding some holiday fun to the season of giving.

The community also is putting on a festive photos with Santa event, celebrating the joy of the season while supporting meaningful local causes.

Lakeside Companies: Tom’s Turkey Drive

Lakeside Companies contributed to Tom’s Turkey Drive, an annual event that partners with local organizations and donors to provide Thanksgiving meal kits for area households. The drive has become a dependable resource for community members during the holiday season.

ATC: Holiday Food Drive

ATC recently wrapped up a successful holiday food drive, collecting 400 pounds of food and $1,000 in cash donations, all of which were delivered to the Post Falls Food Bank. Their contributions help the food bank meet increased seasonal demand and provide nutritious meals to families who need extra support this winter.

Continuing a Tradition of Community Care

We’re proud of the teamwork and generosity shown by all our Lakeside Companies entities. Each project reflects our shared commitment to strengthening the communities we call home, especially during the holiday season.

Thank you to every resident, employee, and partner who contributed. Your kindness makes a lasting impact.

Annual Kootenai Memorial Golf Tournament

Architerra, a Lakeside company, recently had the privilege of attending the Annual Memorial Golf Tournament for the Kootenai County Police & Fire Memorial Foundation. The foundation was established to extend financial assistance to first responders and their families in times of unforeseen and disastrous circumstances. Architerra’s design team sponsored a comfort station and served mimosas at the tournament. We were extremely grateful to contribute to this cause, and are excited to be back next year!

A Year of Giving Back

Lakeside is a company committed to supporting various local charities and fundraisers. Here is what we have been involved with this past year:

ATC Manufacturing, a Lakeside company, provided bags of essential items to the Kootenai Bridge Academy and 2nd Chance Ministries. 2nd Chance, led by Pastor Dirk Scott, was founded to assist the homeless community by providing necessary resources. Contributing to their efforts was a truly fulfilling experience, and we wholeheartedly support their positive impact in the local community.

During the holiday season, ATC donated food to the local Thanksgiving food drive to combat food insecurity. We also contributed toys to Kindness for a Cause, a local charity committed to providing birthday and holiday items to families in need. It was a rewarding experience to collaborate with an organization dedicated to “spreading kindness like confetti.”

Recently, members of the ATC team participated in a charity golf tournament hosted by the North Idaho College Booster Club. This tournament aimed to support nine NIC athletic teams by establishing a unique fueling station for student athletes.

We are excited for more community involvement throughout the year. Stay tuned for updates on how Lakeside Companies are working to make a positive difference.

Continuing Support for Ronald McDonald House

Lakeside Companies Architerra and Zi Spa attended the SK Ball on September 9th. The SK Ball is an annual fundraiser by Ronald McDonald House of the Inland Northwest. Sponsorship of the event by Architerra was a continuation of support for RMCH of the Inland Northwest.

Specialized Needs Recreation Center Annual Fundraiser

We are proud to be a silver sponsor for the “Under the Big Top” fundraiser for Specialized Needs Recreation. Specialized Needs Recreation is a local organization in Coeur d’Alene whose goal is to provide recreational opportunities to all people with disabilities regardless of their ability to pay.

Kootenai Humane Society Partnership

Lakeside Cares is proud to announce a partnership with the Kootenai Humane Society for 2022 including a $250,000 donation from John Hemmingsen and additional donations from Architerra – a Lakeside Company.

Children’s Village of Coeur d’Alene

We recently sponsored a table for the annual benefit auction for the Children’s Village of Coeur d’Alene. Children’s Village is a trauma responsive safe haven, restoring trust and hope for children and families who experience abuse, neglect, or are in crisis.

Hoopfest 2022: King of the Losers!

Lakeside and Architerra participated in Hoopfest 2022 – the largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament in the world! Our team this year won the losers bracket, and had a great time at the event.
